Algeria-Turkey partnership: Pipe production plant project launched in Relizane

RELIZANE-Minister of Water Resources, Hocine Necib on Tuesday laid the first stone of a pipe production plant in the industrial zone of Sidi Khettab (province of Relizane) under an Algerian-Turkish partnership.
Hocine Necib said the project is part of the governmentâ€™s policy to diversify the national non-hydrocarbon economy and reduce the import bill.
The minister stressed that this complex is a win for the wilaya and Algeria becquse it will meet the needs of the national market, emphasizing the strategic position of Relizane, near the port of Mostaganem facilitating the export of the product of this complex.
This â‚¬ 80 million investment follows the 49/51 partnership rule between the Algerian group Cosider and the Turkish company â€œSamssan Makina Industriesâ€.
